This is the private version of the Embalse El Yeso excursion: a vehicle and a guide for your group and nobody else. The route, stop by stop, is described on the group tour to Embalse El Yeso; here we explain how the day changes when you set it up your own way.
If you travel in winter, snow changes the look of the surroundings and the reservoir may appear snowy, even partly frozen. Cajón del Maipo is a mountain area with changeable weather: if the state of the road or the weather rules out a stop, the guide uses their experience to decide how to adjust the route.
The price is per person and goes down as the group gets bigger: the table on this page shows the exact amount for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 or more travelers.

Yes. Once you have booked, you can talk to the coordinator to adjust the pickup time. The base proposal departs at 6:30 a.m.; because of traffic and distance, we recommend leaving early to make the most of the day.

You travel with a vehicle and guide exclusive to your group, we pick you up directly at your hotel or address with no route to collect other passengers, and the timing and stops can be adjusted. On the group tour, pickup depends on the other passengers' route and starts from 6:00 a.m.
In winter snow can cover the mountains and even leave the reservoir partly frozen, as the photos on this page show. The tour runs year-round, except in exceptional circumstances; if road or weather conditions prevent reaching a stop, the guide adjusts the route.
Lunch and drinks are not included: you can bring your own or buy on site. If you prefer to have it sorted in advance, at booking you can choose an a la carte lunch, a country barbecue, a picnic box or an open buffet.
