Treat yourself to a pleasant 55°C hot springs bath surrounded by the imposing landscape of the snow-capped peaks of the Andes. At more than 2,500 meters above sea level and contemplating the mountain views and the endemic flora and fauna of this unique natural spot. 10-hour tour from Santiago with entrance, guide, and transportation included. Total well-being in the heart of nature!
The rustic hot springs pools of the Valle de Colina are nestled in a magical place far from the hustle and bustle of the city. A remote and silent space in the middle of the mountains, where a hot thermal water bath can be combined with a cool drizzle in the middle of summer or with the snow that surrounds the hot springs during winter.
The outdoor pools are arranged as terraces and have been naturally formed by calcareous thermal water deposits at different temperatures. They allow you to enjoy a relaxing and therapeutic bath of mineral waters and mud while observing this fascinating natural mountain environment next to the Colina River. These hot baths are even more comforting in the middle of winter, because inside the pools, one can enjoy the cozy feeling of being sheltered and protected from the mountain cold.
Termas Valle de Colina is where the road ends: a high valley of Cajón del Maipo that is reached by a road that is already part of the excursion. The reward is open-air hot springs pools of volcanic origin, with the mountains as the only view around.
On this tour we also visit other must-see places in Cajón del Maipo such as the Pueblito de San José de Maipo, the San José Volcano viewpoint, and the famous coffee shop and pastry shop la Casa de Chocolate.
We pick up from all hotels in downtown Santiago, Providencia, or Las Condes. If you are not in one of these areas, you will need to go to one of them or book a private tour.
