Valparaíso and Viña del Mar tour from Santiago: full day

Heritage, ocean and wine country, all in one day

This Viña del Mar and Valparaíso tour from Santiago combines in a single day the hills of Valparaíso (Paradise Valley), declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the seafront of Viña del Mar (literally, the vineyard by the sea) and a stop at a winemaking cooperative in the Casablanca Valley, with a tasting included.

An ideal tour for the whole family!

We’ll leave Santiago early to make the most of the day, and on the way to Valparaíso, we’ll stop at a wine cooperative in the Casablanca Valley. All the wineries in one place! With a tasting of local products.

Once in Valparaíso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you’ll explore its most notable attractions, such as La Sebastiana, the Pablo Neruda House Museum, Plaza Sotomayor, its most iconic monuments and buildings, Paseo 21 de Mayo, Cerro Artillería, and Cerro Alegre.

In Valparaíso the tour is on foot through Cerro Alegre, Cerro Concepción and Cerro Artillería, with their steep streets, brightly painted houses, Plaza Sotomayor and Paseo 21 de Mayo, passing by La Sebastiana (Pablo Neruda’s house-museum). The group then moves on to Viña del Mar, home of the international song festival at the Quinta Vergara amphitheater, to see its beaches, the Flower Clock and the Fonck Museum, before returning to Santiago.

We’ll have lunch in Viña del Mar, home to the famous international song festival held at the Quinta Vergara Amphitheater. (Lunch is optional: each passenger pays for their own.) Viña del Mar is known as the “Garden City” and is one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations. Later, we’ll take a stroll to explore its beaches and visit the Fonck Museum. On our way back to Santiago, we’ll make one last stop at a café.

We pick up from all hotels in Downtown Santiago, Providencia, or Las Condes. If you are not in these areas, you will need to make your way to one of them or book a private tour.
