Undurraga is a century-old winery, founded in 1885 by Francisco Undurraga Vicuña with vine stock brought from Europe: one of the pioneers of Chilean wine exports, now sold in 65 countries, 34 km from Santiago. The guided tour passes through the park, the Aliwen corner, the vineyards, the soil pit, the winemaking plant and the variety garden, before heading down to the underground cellars for a tasting of three reserve wines.
It’s a smaller winery than others on the circuit, which makes the visit feel more personal and far less rushed.
